Ticketing

  • Pricing- BE REALISTIC! What will your audience be willing to pay? Are the acts professional, well known? Will it be worth a lot of money? Do you need to make a profit? Do you even need to charge a booking fee?
  • Sponsors- If you have any sponsors that supply equipment, then you will need to have them on the tickets and they will most likely require a cut of the ticket sales.
  • Bands- Bands and any supporting acts will need to be on the ticket and they will also be most likely to require a cut of the ticket sales as well as their normal price on top of that.
Your tickets will need to aesthetically mirror the way you marketed your concert, for example the same colour, font and information will also need to be used on your tickets to make your event as professional as possible. The price will also have to appear on the front of the ticket, along with the date, time and venue too. Be sure you know a maximum capacity of the venue you have hired, this is important because you don't want to sell too many tickets when it is not safe to have over a certain amount of people in the audience. This limit of tickets will need to be presented on the marketing of your event.
